Hello,

This Transmitter enables a switch to control either lights or blinds. It permits to keep your own switch.
This device is battery operated indeed.

Please find manual below:
https://shop.somfy.co.uk/wp/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/IZ...

Regarding Zigbee support, I don't know but I don't think Zigbee and IO are compatible, that's 2 different protocols.

Kind regards.

André

Hi,

I see there is a new product

Somfy micro-transmitter IZYMO IO

This can control io homecontrolled somfy blinds as I understand it.

Couple of questions , this device is battery operated and just requires a dumb switch to activate it?

Also I read some blog posts about this with ZigBee support . Will a similar device be released that can be controlled via ZigBee to control io homecontrol blinds.

Many Thanks
Steve
