Hello Mihai,
I have responded to you in another post that this detector is probably defective. You will need to contact customer service through your retailer if the product is still under warranty.

Bonjour,

I have a Somfy smoke alarm IO with the following serials on its back:
A02 D 18 188 B 5127598 0333-CPR-292133-1
I used it successfully for the past several years (also added in Tahoma box) until it ran out of battery and I had to replace the battery (the small one, not the 9V one). However, after battery change I saw that in Tahoma it was still reported as low battery.
I removed it from Tahoma and tried to add it again. The reset procedure specifies to hold the test button pressed until I hear 6 beeps - I did like this and I heard 6 beeps grouped by 3.
However, I believe that the sensor was not reset because the led didn't start to blink indefinitely. I tried to add it to Tahoma but on web page it said that the sensor was not found.

My question: how can I hardware reset somehow this sensor because it seems the option with 6 beeps is not working.
Also, while adding in Tahoma it says I need to press the test button more than 5 seconds until the led reacts - but in what way it reacts?

Other than that, the smoke detector seems to be operational since the test led blinks once each 60 seconds signaling it is healthy.

Merci,
Mihai

Bonjour,

Merci,
Mihai
